Indicated

Indicated is a twenty-metre stone cashel on a high Clare plateau, holding subdivisions that suggest people lived there rather than merely marking a boundary. The multiperiod fields around it reveal repeated human use across centuries. The fort may have served as a seasonal refuge, a watchpoint, or a domestic stronghold, though no surviving name or date confirms which. Its stones still divide the plateau into inside and outside, waiting for someone to remember why they were set.
