What is recorded here

In a low-lying area in pasture, partly covered by trees, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-030001-). Indicated on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. This subrectangular enclosure (int. dims. 30m N–S; 20m E–W) abuts the E side of a cashel (CL009-040003-). The N, E and S sides are defined by a double-faced stone wall (Wth 1m; H 1m at N and S; max. H 2m at E). A house site (CL009-040005-) lies c. 16m to the NW of the enclosure. Another enclosure (CL009-040002-) lies c. 40m to the NNW and a cashel (CL009-040001-) lies c. 70m to the NW.
