On a SW-facing slope overlooking a NW-SE section of the River Suck, c. 25m to the SW. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 59.4m N-S) with a few trees defined by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.4-7.7m; Wth of base 2-3m; int. D 0.8-1.5m; ext. D 1.2-1.8m), and an outer bank (Wth 4.2-6.2m; ext. H 0.3-1.7m) WSW-N-SSE, the river or the slope having removed the bank elsewhere (max. ext. diam. 79m N-S). There is an entrance (Wth 5.4m) and a modern causeway (Wth 2.6m; H 0.45m) of limestone blocks at N. There are traces of a second outer fosse (Wth of base 3.4m; D 0.3m) and external bank (Wth 3.3m; ext. H 0.25m) NE-ENE.
