Rocky, steep-sided, sub-rectangular area projecting E into Reanies Bay. Rock-cut fosse (Wth 5.5m; D 1.8m), on N-S axis, crosses promontory on seaward side of neck; according to Westropp (1914, 102), was built as part of castle defences (CO133-03301-).
