Indicated is a buried fairy fort in County Monaghan, Ireland, where a broken earthen ring still marks the edge of human memory. The slope faces south, the grass has taken back the entrance, and the field wall cuts through the middle like a forgotten decision. People may have lived inside the circle before becoming story, but the land has stopped answering questions and keeps its own shape instead.

Located towards the bottom of a S-facing slope. A circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) described in gothic lettering as a ‘fort’ and cut by a NW-SE field bank is depicted at this location on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is an overgrown circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by an earthen bank and some stone walls. There is no visible fosse or entrance, and the interior is bisected by a NW-SE field wall.
