In Bonane Heritage Park, on a level break on a SW-facing slope in the valley of the Sheen River. In the 1930s Capt. D.B. O'Connell noted an 'ancient building' at this location (KAS). There are no visible remains of this building. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
