Indicated

Situated on a plateau of karst limestone in a slight basin. A rectangular enclosure (int. dims. 23.2m NW-SE; 28.2m NE-SW) defined at SW, NW and NE by a drystone wall (Wth 0.4-0.8m; H up to 1.4m) and at SE by a double-faced wall (Wth 1.2m; H 0.6-0.9m). Indicated on Tim Robinson’s map of the Burren (1977). There is some spill associated with the drystone wall but it is unclear whether it is built on an older wall. A grass-covered rectangular rock outcrop (6.2m NW-SE; H 0.4-0.8m) occupies the centre of the enclosure. There is a small subrectangular annexe (10m NE-SW; 5.5-10.5m NW-SE) outside the S corner.
