What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. A stone-faced earthen bank, one point one metres high, still marks the edge of a roughly circular space thirty-eight metres across. Coniferous trees crowd the interior, but the bank remains visible beside pasture and a farmyard. The shape suggests people once drew a line around a life they wanted to keep separate from the surrounding field.

In pasture, adjoining farmyard on S side. Roughly circular area (diam. 38m) enclosed by stone-faced earthen bank (H 1.1m). Interior planted with coniferous trees.
