What is recorded here

Visible on aerial photographs (GSI, S 224-5). A circular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.2m, int. H c. 0.9m, ext. H c. 1.4m). Scant remains of fosse survive at SW. No other visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
