Raised oval area (int. dims. 55m NNW-SSE; 46m ENE-WSW) enclosed by a low, narrow earthen bank and a narrow, shallow fosse. Both have been much modified and incorporated into the field boundary. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
