What is recorded here
Situated on the NW side of a low ridge. Oval area (56.5m E-W; 49.5m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2.3-2.8m; int. H 0.1m at NW, 0.6m at SE; ext. H 1m at NW, 0.6m at SE). A slight depression is evident outside the bank at NNE but it is not clear if this represents a fosse. A A break (Wth. 2.2m) in bank at E, lined on each side by a single boulder, probably represents the original entrance. There is another break (Wth 1.4m) at S. The interior is level except in the NW quadrant where there is a marked slope down to N.
