What is recorded here

On top of an E-W drumlin ridge. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims 34.6m E-W; 30.8m N-S) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 4.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.6m) at N and fosses or moats (Wth of top 4.4-5.4m; Wth of base 2-3.3m; int. D 1.5m; ext. D 1.3-1.5m) at S, W and N. The fosse or moat at E (Wth 5m; D 0.2m) is back-filled where it borders moated site (RO017-013002-). There are overgrown field banks on the outer edge of the moats at S, W and N.
