What is recorded here
On a short flat stretch of rocky ground on the E side of a ridge under hazel and within a multiperiod field system (CL005-115001-). Indicated as a circular feature on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. A much overgrown roughly circular enclosure (int. dims. 29m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by a stony bank (Wth 1.2m; H 0.8m) with some possible inner facing (H 0.5m). At NW some well-built walling (H 1.1m) may be original but the enclosure is difficult to trace or may be unenclosed at N. A loose modern wall runs on the line of the enclosure from W to E.
