What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. The soil may have held a village, a shrine or a forgotten home before the fairies took it back. People still point at the ridge and refuse to build there, not from fear but respect for the lives the earth already claims.
