Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Creeve (ballymoe By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. Indicated is a D-shaped grass-covered area 29 metres east-west and 25 metres north-south, bounded by a low scarp 0.2 to 0.3 metres high with a pond on its south side. It sits on a gentle east-facing slope at the southeast end of a broad ridge running northwest to southeast. Rath RO034-068 stands immediately to the northeast, while the large enclosure RO034-067001 lies about 50 metres to the northwest.
On a gentle E-facing slope at the SE end of a broad NW-SE ridge. Described (Knox 1918a, 160-1; Gannon 1972) as a circular area defined by an earthen bank and slight fosse. This is a D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 29m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by a low scarp (H 0.2-0.3m) with a pond at its S side. Rath (RO034-068----) is immediately to the NE and the large enclosure (RO034-067001-) is c. 50m to the NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
