What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined circular cashel in County Galway, Ireland. Its drystone wall still marks a thirty-two-metre circle in level pastureland, though age has worn much of the structure away. The site belongs to the old Irish landscape of enclosed farms, stronghold places and boundary markers. Nothing flashy remains, but the shape is still clear enough to stop a person walking past and make them imagine who lived there.
