On a gentle N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 56.3m N-S; 56m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.3m at W to 1m E-S; ext. H 1.4-1.7m) separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 7.3-8.2m; Wth of base 4.5-5.5m; D 0.9-1.2m) from an outer bank (Wth 2m; H 0.2-0.6m) N-E which is incorporated into a field bank (at E: Wth 1.8m; H 0.3m) elsewhere. The stone-lined entrance (Wth 2m) is at ENE.
