In undulating pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 34m) enclosed by low collapsed stone wall (T c. 4-8m) S->ESE, topped by later stone field boundary (H 1.5m). Earth and stone bank (max. int. H 1.9m) ESE->S, stone-faced externally, may incorporate remains of limekiln. Interior planted with trees; possible Man-made underground passage (CO060-157002-) in NW quadrant. According to Hartnett (1939, 98) 'adjacent field is known as Pairc naCathrac' and spindle whorl found near fort is now in UCC.
