Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Coolagarry (athlone South By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. The subcircular grass-covered area measures 39.1m ENE-WSW and 35.3m NNW-SSE on a gentle S-facing slope. An earthen bank with some bushes defines the perimeter, while an outer fosse runs WSW-N-ESE. The entrance and causeway are at N, but the perimeter is quarried ENE-ESE.
On a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 39.1m ENE-WSW; 35.3m NNW-SSE) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 5.4-6.4m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.3-1.7m), with an outer fosse (at ENE: Wth of top 6.9m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.7m) WSW-N-ESE. The entrance (Wth 2.2m) and causeway (Wth 3m) are at N, while the perimeter is quarried ENE-ESE.
