Indicated is a ruined fairy fort on the NE shore of Lough Conn, where two buried ditches and flattened banks still trace a circular chamber twenty-nine metres wide. The headland thrusts three hundred metres into the lake beside a separate motte, while a canalised stream joins the water nearby. Cattle graze the damp pasture above the hidden ridges, unaware that human hands once shaped the earth into a temporary home before forgetting erased its edges.

In pasture, on gently elevated ground on the NE side of Lough Conn. The low elevation extends 300m to W, forming a small headland projecting into the lake, with a motte (MA039-003----) sited on the lake edge. A canalised stream flows into the lake at a small inlet c. 100m NE of the rath. To E ground falls away gently to expanses of lowlying flat, damp pasture. This rath has been levelled, but it is possible to trace the outline of a circular area enclosed by two outer banks with two intervening fosses. The central, slightly raised circular area (29m N–S; 28m E–W) is defined by a low, broadly-slumped scarp (Wth slope 3m; H 0.35-0.5m). It is encircled by a shallow depression (Wth 3-4m), indicating an infilled fosse. On the outer edge of the fosse, there is a bank, levelled now to a very low, broad rise (Wth 3-4m). Outside this a second fosse (W c. 2.5m) with an external bank (Wth 3-4m) can be traced as undulation at S–NNW, barely discernible elsewhere.
