What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland. It is not a human home or a named castle. It is an earthen ring on an east-facing slope, with marsh to the east and a shallow ditch on the west. The bank is low, but the shape is complete. That is enough to keep it separate from ordinary pasture.

In rough pasture, with marsh to E. On E-facing slope, 600m N of ringfort (MA110-040----). Circular area (31m N-S; 34m E-W), enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.6m) S to E, with shallow external fosse on W.
