In pasture, 35m W of Cloonanna church (LI012-070002-) and graveyard (LI012-070003-). The River Maigue lies 230m to W. Built into the S face of natural rock outcrop. Present remains consist of partially collapsed post-medieval limekiln constructed of well-coursed rubble stone (H.4.5m) bonded with lime mortar and cement. The round-arched opening(H 1.4m, base Wth. 4.85m) on the S side is constructed with red brick surround. Google Earth orthoimage taken 2020 shows tree covered overgrown remains of the limekiln to the W of the church and Graveyard.
