What is recorded here

Located towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of Monalee Hill, with a NW-SE stream c. 40m to the W, and just S of a NE-SW road that tuncates the monument. This is a low D-shaped mound (dims. 12m NE-SW; 6m NW-SE; H 0.2m) surrounded by a berm (Wth 15m) defined by a scarp that is only traceable SE-SW (max. H 0.4m at SW). According to Kinahan (1879-88, 153) a cist (WX002-038----) was discovered at its E edge c. 1840. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upoad: 31 January, 2012
