What is recorded here
Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 35-40m) on the 1840 and 1950-51 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. Situated on a slight shoulder of an E-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level. The area is overgrown and has been quarried.
