What is recorded here

In dense overgrowth (hazel, black- and whitethorn, and briars), with higher ground to the W and SW. Hachured as a circular antiquity (est. diam. c. 20m) on the first edition (1842) of the OS 6-inch map and indicated on the later, Cassini edition (1920). Also indicated on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) where it is labelled ‘Sheepfold’. Too overgrown to be surveyed when inspected in 1999. There is a cashel (CL010-122----) c. 77m to the E.
