Indicated is a fairy fort or ringfort in Cartronabree, County Sligo, Ireland. The overgrown oval enclosure sits on flat to undulating ground near Ballysadare Bay and contains a possible man-made underground passage. A single stone and earthen bank two metres wide and seventy centimetres high defines the site.
Situated on flat to undulating ground near Ballysadare Bay. This overgrown site comprises an oval enclosure and is defined by a single stone and earthen bank (Wth 2m, H 0.70m). it is depicted as an antiquity on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map and as a hachured subcircular enclosure of ringfort size on the latest (1913) edition. Possible Man-made underground passage in the interior (SL020-031001-).
