Indicated is a vanished fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland, where a thirty-metre circular bank once rose above gentle pasture but has since been levelled into the land. A shallow curve in a modern field boundary still traces its western arc, preserving the shape of what ploughs and people removed. The fort may have housed humans, hidden treasure, or simply marked a boundary between the visible world and the strange depths beneath Mayo soil.

In pasture, on elevated ground in gently undulating terrain. This possible rath is indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 30m). By the time of the 1930 edition, the enclosing bank at N–E is no longer shown, and the perimeter at W is incorporated into a later NNW–SSE field boundary. The enclosure has since been levelled. A shallow curve in the NNW-SSE field boundary reflects the W arc of the enclosure and may preserve remnants of the original enclosing bank; elsewhere the outline can be traced as a slight surface undulation.
