Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowclooneen, County Sligo, Ireland. The circular rath appears on the 1838 Ordnance Survey map and sits on a narrow ridge above undulating pasture. A steep quarry face has cut through the southeast arc, leaving an earthen bank and scarp to define the remaining level interior.

In undulating pasture, on top of a narrow NE-SW ridge and close to a break in slope; excellent views of the surrounding countryside. This rath is indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as roughly circular area (diam. c. 25m). This circular area (29.7m NE-SW) is now truncated along the SE arc by a NE-SW steep quarry face. The remaining interior is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.8m) SSW-N and by a scarp (H 1.1m) N-E. A barely discernible depression, noted outside the bank along the W arc, possibly represents the line of the external fosse. The interior is level.
