What is recorded here

Marked as a small circular embanked and overgrown enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25m) at the W end of a small rectangular copse (dims. c. 70m E-W; c. 25-35m N-S) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in pasture on a level landscape, it is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
