Indicated is a raised subcircular enclosure on a Mayo ridge, preserving a sharp scarp and a lost boundary now touched by a later field wall. It faces west across boggy ground and north-east toward the Glore River valley, suggesting whoever shaped it valued sight as much as shelter. A second rath waits downslope, implying the ridge once held more than one dwelling or marker. The earth still holds the shape even though the hands that made it have disappeared.

In pasture, located on a ridge, with excellent view to W over an expanse of boggy ground and N−E over undulating bog and pasture, with the valley of the Glore River to N. Raised subcircular area (24m N−S; 23m E−W) defined by a scarp (H 1.55m). The scarp has a broad external slump (Wth 3m) on the N arc, but elsewhere has a fairly vertical external face, and at SE−NW it is incorporated into and topped by a later drystone field wall (Wth 1.4m; H 1m). A low earthen plinth (Wth 0.9m; H 0.4m) protrudes from beneath the inner edge of this wall at W, probably a remnant of the original enclosing bank.
