Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carraun (leyny By., Tobercurry Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a low pasture rise where the ground slopes gently east and south. A discontinuous earthen bank forms an oval boundary, while a boggy fosse cuts across the north-east to north-west edge.

In pasture, on a low rise, with the ground sloping gently away to the E and S. A raised oval area (38m N-S; 43m E-W) defined by a discontinuous earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 2m) along the NW, NE, E and SE arcs. An external flat-bottomed boggy fosse (Wth 4.8m; D 0.4m) is evident NE-NW. A field boundary skirts the fosse along the NW arc.
