In pasture on S-facing slope at foot of Peakeen Mountain. Roughly square in plan (5m x 5m) with front elevation facing S. Random rubble sandstone façade (H 2.8m; Wth 5m). Central lintelled recess (H 1.6m; Wth 1.85m; D 1.5m) with sloping slabs forming rear. Funnel c. 1.8m in diameter. According to local knowledge kiln was built in early 1800s.
