What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in West Cork, an oval pasture ringed by a low earthen bank and a shallow outer ditch. It sits on a west-facing slope, large enough for people to have lived inside or avoided on purpose. A hidden passage may leave the ring toward the north-northwest, carrying breath or memory into the hill. The fort does not need a name to be known; it waits for someone to notice the shape of its shadow at dusk.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Oval area (36m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) ESE->NW; scarp (H 1.1m) NW->ESE; external fosse (D 0.7m) WSW->NW.
