What is recorded here

Indicated is a low semicircular burial mound on a slight rise in County Galway, still shadowing the ringfort sixty metres east. A field wall bit through its eastern edge, yet the southern curve remains visible beside ordinary farmland. Local tradition says people were laid to rest there, giving the quiet earth a purpose older than the stones around it.

On a slight rise, 60m W of a ringfort (GA056-030----). A low semicircular mound of earth and stone (N-S 10m) partially truncated along E side by a field wall.
