Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Bridgecartron OR Derrycashel, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a low rise as a D-shaped overgrown area measuring twenty metres east-west and seventeen metres north-south. An earthen bank and stone-covered scarp define the perimeter, while a field bank and hedge truncate the southeast edge.
On a low rise. D-shaped overgrown area (dims. c. 20m E-W; c. 17m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.4m) S-NW and a stone-covered scarp (H 0.4m) NW-NE. There is no visible fosse or entrance. A NE-SW field bank and hedge truncate the perimeter at SE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
