What is recorded here

A rectangular gable-ended residental house with a three-bay two-storey front elevation and a steeply-pitched slate roof. There is a one-storey addition on the N gable and a blocked-up archway in a wall running out from the S gable. This archway led to a yard at the rear which is enclosed by a range of two-storey outhouses. Although Bary (1994, 183) claims that 'it is probable that it dates to the sixteenth century', nothing in the present appearance of the house is earlier than the 18th century.
