What is recorded here

Indicated was a fortified house in Ballysallagh West, County Clare, built to keep out the dangers of the age. It stood where the land demanded strength, its walls a answer to local fear. Whether it guarded trade, family or faith, the stone still suggests people valued safety enough to shape the earth around it.
