What is recorded here

Ballynacragga Fort stands in County Clare as an unclassified ringfort, its purpose hidden beneath centuries of grass and silence. The absence of facts does not diminish the place; it removes the cage around imagination. A circle of earth may have held a family, a herdsman or a forgotten god, but the vacancy invites more life than a completed sentence ever could.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
