Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

On a shelf of a SE-facing slope of the foothills of the Curlew Mountains. Circular grass-covered area which is overgrown at SW (int. diam. 28m ENE-WSW; 27.5m NNW-SSE) defined by a rebuilt drystone wall (Wth 1.5-1.9m; int. H 0.5m at E to 1.9m at S; ext. H 1.2m at E to 1.9m at S). There are traces of the original wall externally at NW, and internally as a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.5m) E of a NNW-SSE field wall which overlies the interior towards the perimeter at E. There is a modern entrance (Wth 2m) at S. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
