What is recorded here

Near the top of a moderately steep NE-facing pasture slope, overlooked by a ringbarrow (KD031-026----) c. 50m upslope to the SW. Shown on the 1st ed. (1839) of the OS 6-inch map as a circular area (est. max. diam. c. 25m) enclosed by a bank. When inspected in 1987, the monument had been levelled, its site visible as circular patch of green grass (diam. 13m) in a somewhat dry field (SMR file). No visible surface trace survives.
