Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballylion, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular grass-covered area on the crest of a SW-facing slope. An earthen bank defines the perimeter and incorporates into a field bank and hedge. A narrow entrance appears at the ENE edge.
On the crest of a SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32m N-S; 30.1m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.6-3.3.7m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 1-1.4m), which is incorporated into a field bank and hedge with slight traces of a fosse SSW-NNW. The entrance (Wth 1.7m) is at ENE
