What is recorded here

Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A possible subcircular enclosure is marked on the OS 6-inch maps. On inspection in 1997 this was found to be an oval field (45m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by a single drystone wall (much overgrown) from SE to N. This was likely to be post AD 1700 in date. The NE sector was levelled in the course of land improvement. A large cashel lies c. 130m to the NE. Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 30 November 2015

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
