What is recorded here

Indicated is a crannog in County Mayo, Ireland, an artificial island built among wetlands where people lived, kept animals or marked a boundary. The water would have hidden stairs, roots and wooden edges, making the place both practical and mysterious. It still belongs to the landscape, waiting for someone to walk its wet margins and imagine the hands that built it.
