What is recorded here

In grassland within the former demesne of Ballinglass House, overlooking Ballinglass Lough to W. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure, its perimeter planted with trees. All that survives is poorly preserved circular platform (D 39m) defined by a degraded scarp (H 0.5m max.) except at W where the line of the enclosure in overlain by a field boundary.
