What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Kilkenny, Ireland. It is a roughly circular stone ringfort on the lower slopes of a valley, enclosed by a wide wall of tumbled boulders. The interior is flat, with two entrances and fair views across the grassland. The place still suggests occupancy, as if people or something else once lived inside the stones and left the shape behind.
On the lower slopes of a NW-SE valley, at transition to valley floor, in rolling grassland. There are fair views across and along the valley but views are impeded by rising ground to the SW. A roughly circular area (int. dims. 48m N-S; 43m E-W) enclosed by a wall of tumbled boulders (Wth c. 7-8m; H 1.6m). There are two entrances, an enlarged entrance at E (Wth c. 5m) and another one (Wth 2m) at the NNE. The interior is flat, with a slight drop to the E along the E perimeter.
