Internal diam. 40m N-S, 42m E-W. A roughly circular univallate rath situated on a S facing slope on the NE side of the valley that extends SE from Coumaleague Hill to Ventry Harbour. Around the S half of the site, the bank has been reduced to a c. 1.5m high scarp, the level of the interior being higher than that of the surrounding land on this downslope side. The bank around the remainder of the perimeter averages 1m in height and part of it is used and maintained as a field boundary. A 1m wide gap at E may mark the original entrance; its N side is defined by a single boulder. Cultivation ridges and a probable clearance cairn occupy the interior.
