What is recorded here
On a gentle NE-facing slope of a slight NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.4 E-W; c. 30m E-W) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 1.9-2.3m; int. H 0.35-0.4m; ext. H 0.45-1.3m) S-NNW, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.4m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse and the two entrances at SW (Wth 1.8m; 2m) are unlikely to be original. The perimeter has been quarried N-NE and there is a grass-covered quarry trench (dims 10m E-W; 3.5m N-S; D 0.5m) breaching the perimeter at S.
