Marked as a rectangular feature on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the top of the NW-facing slope of a low NW-SE drumlin. Rectangular overgrown area (dims 24m N-S; 23m E-W) defined by an E-W road bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.7m) at S and scarps (H 0.2-1m) on the other sides, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3m; D 0.3m) at E, and a berm (Wth 2m) at N. Rath (RO011-136----) is c. 110m to the WSW.
