Towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a low NE-SW ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30m N-S) defined by a gapped and overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.3-5.6m; int. H 0.4m generally to 1.55m at N; ext. H 0.9m) SW-N-SE and a scarp (H 1.4m) elsewhere, with an external fosse (Wth of top 6.8m generally to 8m at N; D 0.2-0.9m) W-SE. There is no recognisable entrance. The trivallate rath (RO006-153001-) is c. 80m to the N, and earthwork site (RO006-156----) is c. 140m to the ENE.
