What is recorded here
Roadside limekiln built of random rubble sandstone and shale. Front (H c. 3.5m; Wth c. 4m) faces W. Central segmental arched recess ( H 1.6m; Wth 1.8m; D 2m). Horizontal ledge across front of kiln above recess. Two low stone buttresses abut front at either side of recess. Stone lined funnel (diam. c. 1.4m).
